How this template works
Welcome to the Notion travel template! This template is broken down 2 key sections:
Trips
Create a new trip for any trip you are dreaming, researching or booking.
Trips can consist of different countries so it's best to group them by the trip theme e.g. the time of year (Christmas) or the region (South East Asia).
Within the trip page you will find the itinerary for the trip.
Itineraries
Within trips there are itineraries.
Itineraries host all the individual items that comprise your trip such as hotel bookings, saved restaurants, activities, transport and more.
Within the trip itinerary you will also find a quick to do list, calendar breakdown, maps, expenses, packing lists, language phrases, travel documents and a travel journal.
The home page
The home page serves as quick access to all things regarding your trips. You will find:
Access to all your trips (future, past and present) broken down with reminders for current trips, upcoming trips and previous trips.
A quick to do list so you can scan it on the go
All your travel documents for your upcoming trip so you can access it on the go
A breakdown of all the countries you've ever visited with trip details underneath.
*Note. Unless pre-loaded Notion does not work offline so be aware of that in case you're trying to access your documents when you have no connection.
Databases
You will find a breakdown of all the databases, included properties and formulas in
There are a few pre-filled examples in the template. Once you've got the hang of it feel free to delete these
This template was designed in minimal fashion so that you can customise it to suit your needs.
Feel free to change the colours, icons, cover photos and design of the template. That's the beauty of Notion!
