How to promote your product or business
Many of you are creating amazing products like Notion templates, resource sites, courses, integrations, and more! Here are some guidelines for how to promote your product, and guidelines for how to use them.
On naming your product or business
🚫 Please don’t put “Notion” in your company name, product name, domain name, or social media handle. For example, you cannot use the following names:
- NotionHub
- The Notion Helper
- Notion Starter Pack
✅ Instead, lead with your own product or business name. You may also add an additional phrase or description that indicates your product is built with and compatible with Notion. This phrase must appear less prominently in your marketing materials. For example, you can name your product “Acme’s Project Hub,” then include a phrase like the following examples below:
- “A Notion template”
- “A Notion integration”
- “A company home on Notion”
- “Runs on Notion”
- “Consultant services for Notion”
If you operate a website to host Notion resources (like this), please make sure to mention prominently that it is a community-run website and not maintained by Notion.
“Made for Notion” + “Made with Notion” badges
Use either of these badges when promoting your projects that involve Notion’s products and services, like templates, integrations, or how-to courses. You can add it to your own marketing materials across social media, websites, and more.

How to use the badge
✅ Use one badge per layout. Let your unique branding and design take center stage, while placing the “Made for Notion” badge in a secondary position to the image or main message.
How NOT to brand your product or business
🚫 Do not modify, angle, or animate the badge.
🚫 Do not use icons, logos, graphics, or images from www.notion.com to promote your app.
🚫 Do not use the Notion logo in place of the word Notion.
🚫 Do not use any part of the Notion logo in your company or product logo.
🚫 Do not use the standalone Notion logo.

How to use these badges
🚫 Don’t add the Notion logo to your assets to promote yourself.
✅ Add any of the above badges to your assets in a subordinate position to the main image or message.
Badge sizing
For onscreen use, the minimum badge height should be
48px. When using badges in printed materials, the minimum height should be 10mm. It’s important to choose a size that is legible but not overpowering in the layout.
How to promote your community group
Many of you run community groups for your location, university, or any other non-monetized interest-based groups. Here are some assets and guidelines for how to promote your group’s profiles and events.
Social media profile avatar
The recommended avatar style is a Notion logo paired with a unique background that best represents your group. This could be a custom color theme, design or photograph. Here’s how to make one:
