A monthly meetup presented by Notion GMT+8. This event is composed of like-minded individuals to discuss the efforts of using Notion in their personal goals, business, productivity, side projects, and many more. Why? This is an opportunity to see what other people are doing, to get inspiration for your own projects, and to brainstorm practical solutions.

  • Publish website
  • Building products
  • Integration and automation
  • Financial planning dashboard
 
We had a 10 mins discussion on these topics respectively:
  • Setting up resources portal -> Forum style portal for an education community with 150+ members, performance tracking, and progress review
  • Connected-knowledge framework for product managers -> Consolidate product management terminologies, ideas, and measure success
  • CMS website -> Use Notion as a website, organize and display content by the relational database. We also shared a few references from power users

  • Notion + Roam: How August Uses Them Together
 
What next?
  • We've selected "automation & integration" to be a focused topic
  • We'll keep it once a month as of now, weekdays during the evening
  • Based on feedback from the participants. We've got a mutual agreement to pivot from "Notion Hong Kong 🇭🇰" to "Notion GMT+8 🌎" to make the community more diversified + without the location constraints.
