Notion AI Q&A Beta Terms

These Notion AI Q&A Beta Terms (“Q&A Beta Terms”) form a part of the Personal Use Terms of Service and the Master Subscription Agreement, as applicable, between you and Notion (the “Agreement”). These Q&A Beta Terms apply to your access and use of the Notion AI Q&A feature, excluding third-party connections and data from such connections (”Notion AI Q&A Beta”) while Notion AI Q&A Beta is labeled Beta. Any terms used herein have the same meaning as in the Agreement. For the purposes of these Q&A Beta Terms and where the Personal Use Terms of Service apply, any reference to Customer Data shall also mean User Content.
General.  In the event of a conflict between the Q&A Beta Terms and the Agreement, these Q&A Beta Terms control.  The disclaimer section for Beta Services in the Agreement shall not apply to the Notion AI Q&A Beta.  The Q&A Beta Terms will automatically terminate upon the general availability of Notion AI Q&A Beta.
Improving Notion AI. Notion does not use your Customer Data or permit others to use your Customer Data to train the machine learning models used to provide Notion AI Q&A Beta. Your use of Notion AI Q&A does not grant Notion any right or license to your Customer Data to train our machine learning models.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning models can improve over time to better address specific use cases.  We may use data we collect from your use of Notion AI Q&A Beta to improve our models when you (i) voluntarily provide Feedback to us such as by labeling Output with a thumbs up or thumbs down; or (ii) give us your permission.
Input and Output. You may provide input to be processed by Notion AI Q&A Beta (“Input”), and receive output generated and returned by Notion AI Q&A Beta based on the Input (“Output”). When you use Notion AI Q&A Beta, Input and Output are your Customer Data. You are solely responsible for the development, content, operation, maintenance, and use of your Customer Data. You will ensure that your Input and use of Notion AI Q&A Beta and Output will not (i) violate any applicable law; (ii) violate these Q&A Beta Terms, the Agreement or our Content and Use Policy; or (iii) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any of our rights or the rights of any third party. You acknowledge that due to the nature of machine learning and the technology powering Notion AI features, Output may not be unique and Notion AI may generate the same or similar output to Notion or a third party.
WARRANTY DISCLAIMER. NOTION DOES NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTY AS TO THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE USE OF NOTION AI Q&A BETA OR THE ACCURACY OF ANY OTHER INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH NOTION AI Q&A BETA. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT ANY MATERIAL AND/OR DATA OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF NOTION AI Q&A BETA IS DONE AT YOUR SOLE RISK. YOU SHOULD NOT RELY ON FACTUAL ASSERTIONS IN OUTPUT WITHOUT INDEPENDENTLY FACT CHECKING THEIR ACCURACY. OUTPUT THAT APPEAR ACCURATE BECAUSE OF THEIR DETAIL OF SPECIFICITY MAY STILL CONTAIN MATERIAL INACCURACIES. NOTION AI Q&A BETA CANNOT DYNAMICALLY RETRIEVE INFORMATION, AND OUTPUT MAY NOT ACCOUNT FOR EVENTS OR CHANGES TO UNDERLYING FACTS OCCURRING AFTER THE AI MODEL WAS TRAINED. NO INFORMATION OR ADVICE, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM NOTION OR THROUGH NOTION AI Q&A BETA SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY MADE HEREIN.
Service Level Terms Are Not Applicable.  Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in your Agreement or the Service Level Terms, downtime of Notion AI Q&A Beta will not be included in the Availability and Downtime calculations.
Third Party Provider Policies. If you choose to use Notion AI Q&A Beta, you may not use Notion AI Q&A Beta in a manner that violates Notion’s Content and Use Policy or OpenAI’s  Sharing and Publication Policy and Community Guidelines.
